McMahon, and cherished friends Maggie McMahon Collins and Walt Tecza.Ī memorial will be held at 11 a.m. Survivors include his son Patrick Collins, daughter Maureen Collins and her husband Eric Beene of Grapevine, TX, his beloved mother-in-law, Mary M. He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Helen Collins and an infant brother Constantinos. He was an Official Umpire and enjoyed all sports, particularly watching high school football and the Dallas Cowboys. Nick was a kind and caring man who adored his children. Nick was also an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of the Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church, Oil City, Pennsylvania and a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1818, Grand Prairie, Texas. He also worked for Haworth Corporation in Dallas.
He was involved in the furniture industry for 25 years, working for Corry-Hiebert Corporation (previously Corry-Jamestown) in Corry, Pennsylvania and in Dallas, Texas where he was a project manager. Nick attended Oil City High School and Gannon University, where he obtained a degree in finance. He was born Jin Oil City, Pennsylvania, the son of Nicholas and Helen Deets Collins. Nicholas "Greek" William Collins, 62, of Grapevine, Texas, and formerly of Erie, died on June 17, 2012.
